On 6^th March 2012 in Holiday Inn Hotel in Bydgoszcz there was held a special culinary show, the Kuchen Party was organized in Poland for the first time. That time, the hotel kitchen of Bolero restaurant, normally controlled by the chef Jacek Szczepański, was ruled by European famous Chefs: Wolfgang P. Menge, Dirk Baumbah, Ralf Achilles, Jean Bos and their Polish friends: Wojciech Harapkiewicz  and Grzegorz Parczewski.

On 28^th February 2012 in Rimini, Italy, the first edition of the culinary contest „ Sapore Chef Grand Prix” was held, dedicated to the flavours, tradition and modern trends in the gastronomy. Total number of 18 teams took part in the competition, including 16 teams from Italy, one from Korea and our team from Poland, composed of Daniel Olas and Paweł Wróblewski who normally work in Baltic Plaza Hotel MediSPA in Kołobrzeg.

On 9^th February 2012, at 6:00 p.m. there were held The Gastronomic Charity Meeting in the Mercure Panorama Hotel. The mission of the meeting of Wrocław gastronomic world was to collect the financial means for the new wheelchair for Magda Mandys and for her rehabilitation.
