Croatian bakery PAN-PEK joins Inter Europol – strengthening the Group’s position on the international stage

We are proud to announce that on July 16, 2025 Inter Europol S.A. acquired a 100% stake in the Croatian company PAN-PEK, one of the country’s leading producers and distributors of bakery products. This represents a significant step forward in the development and positioning of the Inter Europol Group in the emerging FMCG segment, as well as in the Balkans and Southern Europe.

PAN-PEK, established in 1992, is one of Croatia’s leading bakery producers with two production plants in Zagreb and Dakovo, and also operates its own retail network of over 70 locations. PAN-PEK offers a wide range of high-quality breads, cakes, snacks, sandwiches and regional specialties, which are supplied to modern retail chains, retail customers, and the hospitality sector. The company employs nearly 800 people.

The acquisition of the PAN-PEK bakery represents another significant step in implementing our growth strategy. For several years, we have been consistently developing the Inter Europol Group, focused on the production of healthy food. As with our previous acquisitions of Bezgluten, Primavika and Trimar, our goal is to continue and further develop our business while maintaining the unique character of the acquired company and strengthening its market position.

This is the first international acquisition for the Inter Europol Group. Our mission, as with previous acquisitions, is to expand our product offering and open new markets while preserving local traditions and retaining existing employee teams. We plan to apply the same strategy to PAN-PEK – respecting its values, work culture and customer relationships, while leveraging the opportunities offered by the scale of the Inter Europol Group’s operations.
